RENTAL POLICIES

 

DEPOSIT/PAYMENTS: Your reservation deposit is billed to your credit card at the time of reservation. This will secure your reservation. The reservation deposit is not part of any rental payment due and will convert to a security deposit upon your arrival date. Your security deposit will be credited to your card on file two weeks after your departure date. Your card will be charged 20% of the rental balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. The remaining balance will be charged 4 weeks prior to arrival. Each rental payment must be made as agreed to in this rental agreement for the reservation to remain valid.

 

CANCELLATION: If you cancel your reservation 90 days before your arrival, you are entitled to a full refund, less a $200 service charge.  If you cancel less than 90 days prior to your scheduled arrival, your reservation is considered non refundable.  We will try to assist you in re-renting the property. Cancellations must be in writing.

 

CARE OF UNIT: You are responsible for maintaining the premises in a neat and sanitary condition. During your stay, you must follow the trash pick up schedule posted at the property. Upon departure, turn off all lights and air conditioning, close all windows, and ensure that furniture is in its original location.  Smoking is NOT permitted in this home/condo. You will be responsible and notified by phone for any damage or losses to the rental property or for additional cleaning fees over normal usage. We will notify you and deduct charges from your security deposit.

 

KEYS:  Guests agree to leave keys inside at rental unit or pay a $50.00 lost key fee. 

 

INVENTORY: All homes have washers, dryers, and barbeque grills.   All condos/ homes have fully equipped kitchens and all linens. Properties are inventoried weekly by our staff.  You will be charged for any missing or damaged items.

 

CONDUCT:  You and your party agree to not disturb the neighbors with loud noise, outdoor music, or unlawful or unsafe behavior.  If you allow or participate in such behavior, you will be asked to leave and will forfeit the remainder of your rental fee and deposit. Participation in unlawful activities including environmental destruction, natural resource violations, or public nuisance violations are cause for eviction. If you are staying in a condominium, you agree to abide by the rules and regulations established by the Condominium Association, or your rental will be terminated. A copy of these rules is posted inside of your unit. 

 

OCCUPANCY: Any changes to occupancy must be approved and can result in increased fees. Occupancy at any time greater than the stated amount for your property will result in termination of rental with no refund and forfeiture of deposit. House parties and visitors are not permitted. Should this occur, occupancy will be terminated with no refund and forfeiture of deposit.

 

PETS: No pets are allowed. If any pets are present during your stay, you will be asked to leave and you will forfeit your rental including deposit.

 

VEHICLES:  The only vehicles permitted at the property are those that are agreed upon in the rental agreement.  No motorcycles, motor homes, or jet skis are allowed. At the condominiums, no trailers are allowed. Special provisions for any of the above may be made, but must be approved by Dolphin Vacations in advance of your rental date. There is no parking for our Villa Key West rental.

 

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMES:  Check in time is after 3:00 pm on the date of arrival and check out time is 9:00 am on the date of departure. No late check outs or early check ins are permitted.

 

PROPERTY:  If your rental property is for sale, Dolphin Vacations reserves the right to show the property to prospective buyers with 24 hour advance notice.

 

DISCLAIMER:  Dolphin Vacations is not responsible for any damage as a result of attempted theft, storm damage, improper mooring, etc. to boats tied to docks or while on the property. If applicable, you will be refunded all hurricane evacuation days issued for visitors by Monroe County for your dates. We are not responsible for controlling water depths to and from the rental. If property is unavailable for any reason, you will be given a comparable property or a full refund. Dolphin Vacations is not liable for any loss, injury, death, or damage to persons or property which at any time may be suffered or sustained by lessee or by any person who may at any time be using or occupying or visiting the leased premises or be in, on, or about the premises.

 

PRIVACY: Dolphin Vacations is committed to protecting your confidential information. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization. Our company does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
